We're messin' with navigation, so bear with us for a little bit.
OK, so not totally done, but we're mostly there. Lookit the handy new horizontal navigation! It works a little quicker than its cast-off cousin, and I think it's simpler to understand where you're going.
12:30a.m We did the bulk of the changes, but there will be some tweaking over the next day or so. Let us know if you have any issues in the comments.
Feedback: What do you want from the navigation?

We are looking at changing the navigation on this site after some feedback we've gotten about the site.
It might take a bit to get into play, but I wanted to ask our oh-so-awesome users for help.
We are going to be moving navigation and paring down options. So I'd like some comments on the following, if you've got a minute. We like to have fresh eyes and brains on our side.
What do you click on in the navigation most?
What do you like and hate about navigation?
Would you prefer vertical or horizontal navigation?
Anything you'd like us to have links to?
You can leave your answers in the comments of this post, or go ahead and PM me.
Tips and Tricks

I had to perform my first community manager duties today, which is both a good and a bad thing. I'm glad there are users, but here are some friendly reminders, tips and tricks.
* Post in one place and one place only.
I can and will lock and/or remove postings that are duplicates. It does not matter if one is a blog, a story, or a forum post. If it duplicates content, it'll get locked and potentially removed.
(edit: Locking a thread means that no one will be able to post replies to the thread)
* A blog is not a forum topic and a forum topic is not a blog.
Yes, they are both opinions/observations/questions and are for generating response. However, there are differences.
Missing "add content" button?

edit 5:10 p.m. OK, It really is working now. Thanks for the patience.
edit 4:37 p.m. I lied, still working on it.
edit 3:48 p.m.: OK, should be totally working now. Let me know if anything looks funky.
For the next hour or so the little user menu on your left might look a little funky. I'm working on making a better add content page that makes a lot more sense than our current one.
You should still be able to access the page while I'm working on it. If not, shoot me a quick e-mail at kbui@thetribunenews and I'll help
