Google's Street View is hardly a new thing, it's been around, showing us street level views of major cities for quite a while now. Pat even mentioned it in his blog, showing that even computer illiterate, beard having, Grudge holders have found Street View. I've used it to (virtually) walk by Disneyland, and down the Strip in Las Vegas. I've seen Times Square and (kinda) the Statue of Liberty, despite having never been to New York.

Last night, I was looking up an local address, and to my surprise when Google Maps gave me the option to go to Street View. I figured that it had to be a mistake, but I clicked on the button anyway, and got a street level view of Oceano.

Of course, at this point, I simply had to check out the street level views of my house, my old house, my mother-in-law's house, and pretty much anywhere else that I could think of to spy on people. Sadly, there were no people in any of the places I was looking.

I was hoping to find a picture like this one of some guy apparently breaking into a house:

Or a car accident:

But sadly, it doesn't look like much was happening in SLO County when Google came to visit.

I did find myself hanging around outside the Tribune office though:

So, people of SLO County with nothing better to do, I challenge you to find something interesting happening in Street View. Surely something was going on while Google were taking pictures of us.
