The fine folks at McClactchy Interactive have completed the upgrade of the software that MySLOCounty runs on, leaving me free to start implementing some of the improvements that many community members have been asking for.

So far, the most requested things have been an "Ignore" button that will allow you to ignore posts by specific users, and improvements to the forums. I have launched changes in both of these areas. There should be an "Ignore user" button at the bottom of each forum post, and a link at the top of each comment on the site. We are also running a new forum software that allows you to jump to a specific page of a discussion without having to wade through all the previous posts - something which I assure you frustrated me as much as it did everyone else.

I will continue to tweak these things as necessary, and attempt to add additional features as requested. So feel free to request them.
