The Beauty of SLO County

The Beauty of SLO County

We live in a great county. Over the years, I've taken a photo or two around these parts and just thought I'd share a few of them.

Well, the html tags must not work and there is no ability to edit. Oh, I see. I hadn't html'd in so long I was doing it like bbcode. :)

I guess that is enough for now. :)

Beautiful pix. Who flew the plane for the aerial shots? Great stuff.

Hi Judith.

A close friend flew around for a day and I rode along. Here is my website if you're interested in more local stuff. Most of it is in the "Beyond the Sierra Nevada", "Wildflowers", and "Sunsets/Sunrises" and "SLO Aerials".

Ms. Langford,

Thanks for the beautiful pictures, and the links to other great sites.

What an interesting and awesome man your dad is. You are most fortunate to claim such a man as "Daddy".
....... and you ain't so bad as a photographer, either! ;-)

God bless

Thanks for posting these photographs!

It's good to stop reading some of the bad news and worse, the resulting comments about how SLO County is doomed (economy, jobs, etc). Once in a while, it's good to take a look at tangible reminders of how great we really do have it on the central Coast and in our state. California takes a beating in the news and the blogs, but if we know where to look, we know how lucky we are to have the privilege of living here. I look at these photos and wonder, why do we often worry so much? We're missing the beauty.

Just like the pictures of those ocean waves - sometimes life seems up and sometimes it's down, but the tide always returns, doesn't it? These days, it seems harder times are everywhere, but what a backdrop to overcome it all, huh?

Indeed. There's nothing new under the sun...
