Since the old discussion is "read only" and since I would like to respond to the last two posts made to me by you, I will try here in hopes that it is, in fact, possible to do so under this new format.

First, about writting stuff with out all the facts. I thought I explained this when I said that I am poor at taking notes or saving articles of importance.....plus my memory, due to my age, is not what it used to be and I never was good at remembering stuff...like dates, names, etc. I remember trivia pretty good. Why this is, I can't explain. Since you are so precise in all that you post and are into research before commenting or presenting facts, I thought you might be able to "research" my post on the death of the electric automobile. I haven't gotten to it yet, because I have been busy of late with more personal stuff. (I do have a life other than this media, believe it or not ;-))

Now , on the Judgement thingy. I don't believe it, but I think you missed my whole point of "judgement".
I speak of "judgement" in the biblical sense. You speak of judgement in reguards to everyday (secular) judgement. We SELECT people and things we want to associate (people) with, or things (drink or take drugs) we want to do. We do not have the right to JUDGE others beliefs or life style. The judgement I was referring to is the judgement expressed by certain posters as to what they THINK or ASSUME is the true character or motives of others just because they don't like or agree with them, under the guise of "just an opinion", although most folks don't admit that they are doing so, but rather present it as FACT. Anyone who doesn't agree with their "opinions" is also judged. They are either a fool, stupid, ignorant or worse.
But, IMHO, it is wrong to JUDGE a persons character, or what they are thinking, why they do something (motives), or what they believe, simply by what the accuser THINKS is true.
Here's a person who I find tough to NOT judge. A member of TW, a church goer and a purported "wonderful person" was overheard to PRAY, in church, that a certain person on the CSD would "drop dead".

Now as to electric cars: We got em. They are called golf carts. Unfortunately, the powers that be, build bicycle paths, and will not let them be used by golf carts. We can easily build electric cars that will go 300 miles at 25 MPH. In NYC, electric trucks delivered newspapers daily up until 1952.

If you do not have facts, or have poor memory, just don't vote. And disclose the name of the church going Christian, "wonderful person", praying that a certain person on the CSD would "drop dead". Certainly this is hearsay, and does not belong here. "Was overheard".

Yes, I suppose you could call the comment on the church-goer, wonderful person "hearsay", but since I ain't under oath I am not going to mention the person by name or the source (which is very reliable) for legal reasons since you folks are prone to sue any one at the drop of a hat.

I guess the mentality of the "sewer" folks is showing. I see no one wants to reply to your asking for opinions on important issues. Since I am not as worldly as you (and "fool" to boot) my opinions mean little or nothing to you on political issues. However, as a "just plain joe", I see no advantage to electing Obama to the presidency...if fact just the opposite. McCain, IMO, is too old, therefore we don't have a very good selection, do we? I think I will "write-in" Crapkiller4 on my ballot. ;-), or choose the lessor of two evils which seems to be John. I think, because of his age, his choice for vice-pres, will be a decisive issue, since John may not last full term due to the stress he will have to endure with a Demo-controlled House and the USs' position in the world, the oil thingy, the effect of the midwest flodding on food prices....and on and on.

OK...now tell me where I am wrong.
