The Templeton Independent Study High School (TISHS) program is a WASC Accredited program offered by Templeton Unified School District that provides individualized instruction and to students seeking a high school diploma. We designed the program to allow students to progress at their own rate. The flexible scheduling allows students to have jobs during the day and remedy credit deficiencies.

TISHS students can also pursue higher education opportunities (i.e. Cuesta College, University of California College Prep) and earn both high school and college credit while taking their regular high school courses. All program curricula are standards-based and aligned with California State Curriculum Frameworks. The graduation requirements are identical to those at the comprehensive high school.

Templeton Independent Study High School has sites located in San Luis Obispo and Templeton to serve students throughout San Luis Obispo County. Both sites are equipped with technology resources to provide students wit h access to online research sites and educational resources.
