What I'm really excited about today: Watching TV on the Internet!

OK, so I know I’m a few years late with this one, but ...

How funny is “Arrested Development”?!?!

You got that nervous-nelly Buster with a hook for a hand and “never-nude” Tobias leaving blue handprints everywhere and self-absorbed Lindsay with her “slut” shirt and George-Michael at the banana stand and his cuz-sin Maebe shouting “Marry me!” and Gob doing magic tricks to “The Final Countdown” and how cute is Jason Bateman? It’s, like, the best show ever made! Well, maybe the second best show ever made.

Now, I remember hearing about how great it was back when it was still on the air, but for some reason I never bothered to tune in. I’m not sure why. What could I have possibly been doing Sunday nights from 2003 to 2006? Probably something really important and worthwhile. Like eating pie.

Anyway, I’m so glad I started watching “Arrested Development.” I finally have a hobby! And it wouldn’t have happened without Hulu.com.

You’ve heard of Hulu, right? It’s pretty cool. Kind of like having your TV set inside your computer, if your TV let you watch old episodes of “The A-Team”, “Doogie Howser, M.D.” and “Married With Children” whenever you felt like it.

Oh, and you can watch movies, too! As I’m writing this, Hulu’s top two most-watched movies of all time are “The Girl Next Door” and “Ice Age.” So there’s something for everyone! Particularly members of the “wishful-thinking adolescent male” demographic and the “innocent-but-not-for-long latchkey child” demographic.

Probably the best thing about Hulu, though, is that it’s really easy to share clips of shows with other people. Which comes in handy when you’ve recently participated in a war of words involving rock, paper and scissors and then you coincidentally happen upon a related episode of your (second) favorite TV series and want the record to show that Michael Bluth, the only sane one in the bunch, prefers rock.

See that? “It should beat everything.” That’s what I’m saying! Unfortunately, paper somehow manages to triumph when you least expect it.

Scissors, though, always lose.

Anyway, I better get back to my new hobby: watching TV on the Internet while eating pie! Bye!

Now we just have to convince Danny that Arrested Development is the best TV show ever.

Because it is. Better than The Hills, even.

Zomg, girl! I say that for two reasons: 1. HellO. Of course AD is the best show ever. 2. Where have you been all my life? And by that I mean in the past, like, couple weeks. Joe said something about you being on vacation and his subsequent boredom. So maybe that's it. But hey, look at me with my community site account! All the way on the other side of the world! I guess I just love SLO County. Also, and perhaps most importantly, I gave you a shout-out on my blog, http://barangit.blogspot.com/. Yes, I've jumped on the blogwagon. Read it and tell all your friends and lovers. Also, tell them that I can't be counted on to post on a regular basis because of tiny Cambodian Internet bandwith, power outages, my own uncontrollable laziness, cyclones, etc.
