Depends on what you're looking for...but a good place for Sushi is Yanagi or Tsurugi's. Both are in SLO.
I have lots of favorite places to eat in SLO County! But my house is not one of them. There's never anything good on the menu there. And the service really sucks.
I'd go ahead and tell you all my favorite places to eat, but then you'd be like, "Duh, Chrissy, I already knew you love Burger King."
We really need to go to Chacho's in Oceano, though. You will not be disappointed.
Hey guys! I moved your conversation over to the Dining forum under SLO Life!
And I'm going to object to Chrissy's assertion that there is never anything good on the menu at her house. Her kitchen routinely puts out some of the best holiday-themed cupcakes I've ever eaten.
Aw, thanks Sally.
How about Maritita's next to Scolaris. Food is great,
Really well prepaired and they have great sauces.
Great portions too.
I recently had dinner at The Clubhouse at This Old House in San Luis Obispo. What a treat! The atmosphere was rustic, new – yet original, the staff was pleasant and the food was delicious. I ordered the shrimp fettuccine and was I surprised. First though, let me say that the bread was fresh with great flavor – always a bonus for me. The salad was delicious with extra ingredients and local produce, but best of all my shrimp tasted so fresh and the sauce was light yet extra flavorful. The noodles were the flat type which seemed to have more flavor. Our food all came through in a timely manner and everything went off without a hitch. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a good restaurant to head out Foothill Blvd. and eat at the Clubhouse. I will be returning soon!
