How do I get registered?
Anyone who has registered at sanluisobispo.com already has an account. Don't have an account? Click here.

How do I post my blog/photo/story/other item?
Once you're signed in, click on "Submit/post your content." Then select the type of content you want to create.

Why isn't my picture showing up?
For now, photos are moderated. Wait a bit and our handy moderators should be checking it out soon. Still not there? Feel free to contact us.

How do I get an avatar?
To upload an avatar, log in and click "my account" in the main menu. Then click of the "edit" tab, and scroll down a bit. Under picture, click browse and upload an photo or image from your computer. Your avatar cannot be more than 150x150pixels and 30kB in size.

Why won't my avatar change/upload?
Try clearing your browser's cache and reloading the page if you are trying to change your avatar. If it still hasn't worked, let us know.

How do I create a profile?
Go to "my account" in the main menu and then edit. There you'll see your account settings and a link that says "profile." Click the link and add your details.

Can I use html on the site?
Only some. The following html is allowed on MySLOCounty:
<a> <em> <strong> <cite> <code> <ul> <ol> <li> <dl> <dt> <dd> <img>

How do I change my password?
Since your myslocounty.com account is linked to your sanluisobispo.com account, you need to change you password at sanluisobispo.com.

To do this you'll go to sanluisobispo.com and log in (the log in prompt is to the right of the search box). Then you'll see a link for "member center" next to the log out link. Go to the member center and you'll see a link to change your password.
