    We read Rachel Carson, Adelle Davis and other writers who bucked the trend of bigger is better. Carson and Davis are long gone, but their inspiration lives on. If ever there was a time when their words should be quoted by verse and chapter, now is the time.

    Games played at Atascadero High School,
    Atascadero JR High,Templeton High School,
    and Templeton JR High.
    Entry fee is 300.00.For 3 .or 4 games.
    Top 3 teams in each division qualify for
    California State Games Basketball Championship
    held in San Diego July 9-11 2010.

    The Avila Bay Athletic Club held it's annual tennis club championships-not only was it a weekend of fun, it was also a fundraiser for the Devin Rippner's "Build A School, Make a Difference" Peace Corp project!     "TRICK-OR-TREAT FOR UNICEF" is a RESOUNDING success at Old Mission School -- AGAIN!!

    We'd like to offer a resounding and heartfelt "thank you!" to the wonderful elementary schoolchildren of Old Mission Catholic School who collected donations for the seventh consecutive year during this year's "Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF" program on Halloween. This year, Old Mission’s schoolchildren collected $857.23, their biggest donation yet.
